I had a kiddo last year who...

constantly made HUGE messes on his floor. At the end of the day, he never got to do 'free choice' because he was always picking up his floor!

One day I asked him why he always made such a mess because Mr. and Mrs. Custodian didn't like cleaning it up.

And he looked at me... and was so confused... and he said, "Well, I always make a mess because I thought that if they had more stuff to clean, they'd be at work longer, and they could make more money!" :D I had to tell him that isn't how it works!

It was such an honest, innocent thing! My custodians didn't think it was as cute as I did!
