Hello.

Thanks for posting. Its comforting to know someone is praying about this besides me.

Just to answer a few of your questions: I am very sure he gets these behaviors from home. Even his aid (who is his aunt), says
they swear at home all the time, ect. Many of this inappropriate behavior, I feel, somes from the the fact that at age 11, he still sleeps with his mom and dad (actually, they are his gaurdians). His aid told me that. I have been told by the administration that Social Services has been notified...but out here, Social Services is a joke! I honestly don't know that they do...they never
help kids in trouble.

I want to tell you that this problem I am having is not how it is everywhere, and no, I don't think you made a mistake. Keep positive. I had a lovely student teaching experience for special education in a school for the Blind and Visually Impaired. I still love SPED, but I am going to get out for a while, and use my Elementary Education cerfitication. I am too burned out, and it doesn't help that this was my first teaching job ever. Please try it out for yourself. It can be wonderful.

Thanks again for posting!
