I love this philosophy! it's based on creating community, respectful learners, independence, wanting to do good to do good. there is no rewards/prizes, no cards pulled etc. It's more of a philosophy. www.responsiveclassroom.org is the website that can tell you alot about it. Also, I went to the conference last summer if you would like more info! i looooove it and you really see a difference in kids behavior and their overall attitudes toward learning and each other.
