no snacks
By SaraFirst

Clip to ScrapBook
We have breakfast in the room and lunch is only a few hours later, so we don't have snacks (except for birthdays and holidays). When I was a sub, I had some classes that had snacks. They had to be healthy though. I wonder if there would be a way to make it a school policy and put it in the school handbook, so that parents wouldn't be mad at you personally. I'm not sure if it is national or state mandated, but our schools had to come up with a wellness policy. A lot of schools are doing away with vending machines and requiring healthy foods.
