Adaptive PE
By Fran

Clip to ScrapBook
When I was at ASU, I also had adaptive PE, but our
instructor let us overlap the cards. Some of the
activities could be for deaf, MR and autistic. One was sit down volleyball. Align chairs in rows within arm's reach of each other. Then play volleyball while sitting.
Another was beach ball volleyball with same sitting arrangement.
Blind: following a rope and having a race between 2 or 3 at a time.
Blind: any aerobic exercise.
Autistic: parachute game where you toss a beachball between two parachutes. You have to have an instructor or non-autistic child between each autistic chile.
Good luck.
