book reports
By wdh

Clip to ScrapBook
I teach fourth grade and I require 3 chapter books (around 100 pages) to be read each nine weeks. My book report form is also pretty simple. At the end of the nine weeks, they have to choose one of the books they have read and do a project on it. Everyone does the same project. They then have to do a "book talk" to the rest of the class. I've never had a parent/child tell me it's too much. I also encourage them to read more for extra credit and many of them do! I agree.... quality is much better than quantity!
