Inspiration through knowledge

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with carolyn. Getting upset about the way an inclusive classroom is working is not a solution. I work with LD and ED highschool students and many times I wonder why they are considered Spec Ed. I have seen many
so-called "normal" students act out with more behavior than the students I work with. Anyway my point is if a teacher truly wants to teach and has a passion for teaching then it would not matter what the class roster was. The only advice I can give is to gain as much knowledge as possible about Spec Ed. Libraries are great sources for updated material. Workshops are a wonderful way to
see into Spec Ed. For those teachers that have had no experience in Spec Ed I recommend taking a few classes. After all Knowledge is the only way to banish ignorance.
