Divide into 2 teams. Give a question to student on Team A. If the answer is correct, the student draws a checker from the bag. Red checker; add 1 point Black: subtract 1 point. Before drawing from the bag, have the player decide if he is drawing for his team or the other team. Family Feud: Use one of those bells that you hit to ring. Procedure is like famly feud. If you don't have one of those bells, you could give each team a different noise maker....e.g. rattle, clicker, tambourine Need gameboards, game pieces, and dice: If you have a number of gameboards (I had these made to use for review activities), you can write questions with the answers on the bottom. Have the students work in small teams of 2-3, and sit on opposite sides of the gameboard. Team A draws a card and reads the question to Team B. Team B discusses the answer and chooses a spokeperson to give the answer. If correct, Team B rolls the die and moves. If incorrect, put it back in the container or pile. If correct, put it in the discard pile. I like this because you have several games going at once. You could even have different questions for every station, then switch the questions. It does take a little time to explain this game, but once you have done it, you won't have any problems. Quiz, Quiz, Trade: Have questions with the answers on cards. Each person gets a card and finds a partner. They quiz each other, then trade cards and find a new partner. Students will get a card back that they previously had, but that's okay. They'll know the answer! I have them raise their hand when they are ready to find a new partner. Tic Tac Toe: Draw a grid on the board. Divide into 2 teams. Ask Team A a question. If correct, player can put in X or O. Continue with Team B. (This is one that is probably not new)
