Minute Math has a series of books. There is one for addition, and another for subtraction. These provide everyday proficiency drills which are timed by the teacher. The book gives you 30 problems in one minute, but you can set your own criteria. My kids love it, they check it themselves, and I do not take a grade. Seems to relieve the pressure of doing it fast.
