Printing on sentence strips
By kspotter

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a Lexmark printer and print on sentence strips all the time. Here's what I do in Word:

When I start a New document I go to File, Page Setup then I click on the Paper tab and choose Custom. I set the
width to 17" and the height to 3". My printer won't print longer than 17" so several inches have to be cut off after printing. I also adjust the margins to about .2 on each side - just mess with it a little. Now I just choose my font and font size until I like what I'm seeing.

Next, I want to print so I choose File, Print. When the print box comes up I have to choose Properties
and then adjust the size under paper setup. Again, I choose Custom and set the width to 3" and height to 17". I think I have given these directions correctly. They will vary by printer.
