peeling pumpkins
By Christine

Clip to ScrapBook
It doesn't sound like you missed a step, but maybe just used the wrong paint. I do know that tempera paint peels off of pumpkins. Spray paint, acrylic paint, and, I've been told, even Crayola paints work.
We have a pumpkin decorating contest each year at our school. Inevitably, I always forget and start with the tempera, and it of course doesnt work but the acrylic does for sure!
(I use it this afternoon on my pumpkin tiger)
