Collection Process
By 3grteacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I have them keep folders and notebooks in their desks until we assign them. Then extras I collect.

Kleenex, paper, crayons, markers, glue, glue sticks, water colors, colored pencils, index cards.....I have bins at
the front of the class and I call them by tables to bring them up. I only mark down if a student is missing something. (so I can send a reminder note)

Pencils, highlighters, erasers, post it notes. red, blue, black pens ...I have them divide them up into two piles. They take one pile and put them in their desks. The second pile gets put into a baggie with their name on it. They
get put into a storage box marked mid year supplies.

When the students come back to school after winter break, they get their baggie to replenish their supplies.

It works out really well, and the kids think they are getting a gift!:p
