Here are some issues to think about: Does your school get facilities from it's sponsoring district, or pay their own way? Are the salaries competitive to the local surrounding public districts? Do you have a contract? Most will offer you an "employment agreement" which isbreakable at any time by either party. Good performance (teaching) will be important at these schools; otherwise you could be let go without notice. Is your school financially stable? Do they have a strong history in the community of being fiscally sound? Many are forced to close unexpectedly if they are unable to meet payroll. Hope I gave you some things to ponder. Oh, and I have worked for both public and charter, and I'm starting year #5 in charter, which means I love it! Good luck!
