I love our poster maker. There must be different kinds... the one we have allows you to laminate and so far my posters have lasted 4 years without fading too horribly. I find that the blue does the best
long term, which works because that is one of our school colors. :) I have a harder time with the background paper I put it on (part of own compulsion...another issue altogether!) to display. I use it for all sorts of things. One thing I love to do is use it to make a giant size version of things that I use during whole class lessons. I used it to make big story maps, multiplication charts,

etc. I can write on mine with dry erase markers or vis a vis markers with no problem or residue. I know that the paper is insanely expensive but we are lucky enough to have a very small staff with a lot of teachers who are afraid to try the new stuff out. Out of 15 staff members, mabye 4 of us use it regularly, not including the principal.
