My philosophy is this:
You succeed as long as every one of your students learns something that year. A good teacher doesn't make sure her students all pass ridiculous tests. A good teacher makes sure that the life lessons are learned along the way. They made HUGE gains. Bigger gains than the teacher who had all "normal" students.:s)
