Just having a friend like you must help. Listen and sympathize. If it is allowed at her school, arrange to have lunch, even just a burger sent to her one day. Remind her why she became a teacher.
Try to arrange for 15 minutes of quiet at her house. Take her family for ice cream. Perhaps you could be a secret pal by putting a candy bar or note in her mailbox once a week. Anything that lets her know somebody understands. Good luck.
