JGB Training By yesteach

Have you done the JGB training?

I've never used the first grade program, but when I did second grade, we did all the reading at school. Especially in the beginning, so that I could make sure they were reading it in order to be able to do Shared Inquiry later in the week. I also made them do all their note taking at school.

Now that I have a GT pullout, and we use JGB in 1-4, I let them take the books home because they only come to class once per week. So, they take it home and do the first reading at home.. the second reading at school and shared inquiry at school.
