Timed Math Facts
By Debby

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi! I give quick quizzes of 10 questions everyday. On Thursday, I give a 10 minute timed test of 100 questions. I start off with addition, then subtraction and into multiplying and division. Each student has to have the test right 3 times in a row, then they can move on to the next test. Example - they do + test of facts to 20, then they go on to subtracting to 20. Then they get questions like 18 + 9, a 2 digit no and a single digit. It then advances to 45+23, 2 digit and 2 digit numbers. Most students do make it up to the multiplying and I know they have really worked with those basic facts they need.
