My fourth graders worked a little with iMovie this past year. It turned out to be a little more work for me since I ended up doing most of the editing. They ended up doing three projects this year. After viewing the first finished project, they were chomping at the bit to do another. After showing them how it worked they were more than capable to finish their own project. Let them have at it- it is pretty user friendly like all Mac apps.
