Research is like stats you can always find something to back up your method. Question/Reality which method matches most of your teachers classroom climate. If you have a controlling teacher compared to a "whatever" personality.
I personally have to wait until all my teachers have their schdules done before I can start schduling "teaching times" whether it's push in, pull out. IT is always a touchy thing.. You are right about the 30 minutes. IT doesn't matter if it is push in or pull out there will be some transitional time. You always have to factor in intercom, firedrills, etc. I work on a 30 minute
period basis. Some get more time than others just reality on paper it shows 30 minutes. I agree that needs are different. But I can have 3 different learning needs at one table reading from the same book within range and still address various needs. IT is hard because some "eat worms, some eat cheese, some eat grass" ( these are what I call various learning styles.:)) Hope this helps a little.
