Heather-- I was actually able to get that book from my local library. I wouldn't recommend buying it if you can help it. I agree with love2teach... see about reading his website. That might be enough. The book is very geared
towards high school in it's examples and the first 3 or 4 chapters are all rehashes of things you probably know from responsive classroom and undergrad. There was ONE chapter that outlined his levels and a little more about them and that was the part I took away. There weren't tons of activities and stuff...

I renamed his levels for first graders:

A- acting out of control
B-
bothering others
C- cooperating
D- doing the right thing

I did a lot of chart making where we made tables with the levels down the side and different school environment across the top. Kids drew what each level would look like in that environment.
