My kids have 20 each and I play Tile Towers. I also bought one for my classroom last year. I just used it as a reward. They could play on it for certain things. Most of the time I allowed them to just use their code if they would rather play theirs and my third graders always chose to play their own instead of mine. I very rarely did this and used it only as a very exclusive reward.
I'm a Tile Towers addict!!!
Some problems I would forsee with sending it home:
1. Your secret code would have to be known by all students. Once it is known there would be no way of stopping any kid that wanted to from getting on it any time they wanted to.
2. Spending money- could the kids just freely buy and spend whenever they wanted to????
I would love to hear others ideas of what they did.
