I attended my state math conference last year where it was said that students should have atleast one hour of uninterupted Math practice. I believe in this but have a hard time squeezing in everything else. This is my schedule - notice the TWO recesses(spelling??) which I think is a waste of time!!
7:10 - 7:40 morning duties, morning work
7:40 - 9:35 Spelling, Reading, English
9:40 - 10:00 Recess
10:00 - 11:00 Math
11:05 - 11:25 Lunch
11:30 - 11:50 Recess
11:55 - 1:05 Science/Social Studies (cram time)
1:05 - 1:15 pack
1:15 - 2:00 activity
2:00 dismisal
I know my schedule | |
looks good, if I could just keep to it. I have a really hard time getting through homework review, morning work review, Spelling, Reading , and English before our fist recess.
