All those posts about finding furniture remind me of a trip to New York. I stayed with friends in Greenwich Village, and everywhere on the curbs of the streets was very good and usable furniture that people just put out to be picked up. My friends told me that everything in their apartment came from the street. A little elbow grease and paint, and voila! Recycling at its finest!!
