I agree with the above posts. The only thing you may want to get is some three ring binders. You will collect so much stuff during your experience and you may want copies of everything. You may want to separate it by grade since you will be working with different levels.

I agree with a digital camera! Good idea. You will want to take pictures of bulletin boards you do or someone else has done but you want to copy. Also pictures of kids doing projects you've assigned. I dont know if your school requires it but mine required that we make a porfolio so that when you interview you can show your prospective employer all the things you are capable of. So pictures of you teaching kids and kids learning from you would be great.
