I fully believe in "dumpster diving" behind businesses... I've gotten amazing things that are tossed out...

We used to live near and Barnes and Nobles.. they have one "dumpster/recycling" bin that they put their discarded books and magazines in for recycling.. I've gotten great magazines and books (mostly adult level reading) out of there...

The saddest find... we drove behind a store one day, and found a pet bunny someone had left... in a cage near the dumpster area... sitting under a tree... no food, no water... we took him home with us and found him a home.. :(
