Clip to ScrapBook
Boucing off of what Michaela said about passports. Could you do a world map showing ___ places to travel ( Paris, England, etc .... the number of tables to be learned. ) Either have everyone start off in New York or have
the girls in New York and the boys leaving San Fransico or Leave from various places. Then do the passport idea but as the child "travels to a new place have a way to " pin Point" it on the board. That way Suzie can say "I travel to Paris tomorrow I am going to Rome". Really all you would need is a large world size map or blow up a general outline of one with your special places.
"YOU
talking about kids learning map skills, iintergrating subject matter." You could even have some time of securtiy check point to make sure they understand the procedures of air travel etc. Good LUCK
