Try Seatsacks
By twiceblessed

Clip to ScrapBook
I use seatsacks or seat pockets on the students chairs for their independent reading books and Reading Response Journal. This way when a student finishes his/her work....their independent reading materials are available
and they don't have to move around the room. The students have desks at my school, so this might not work if your students sit at tables and you need your seatsacks for their textbooks.

They can be inexpensive if you can make them yourself or have a parent or volunteer to make them for you. My mother was kind enough to sew them for me and the canvas material (You could get cheaper
material, but I wanted something sturdy and something that would last.) only cost me $31.00 for 28 seat sacks. I went to JoAnn Fabric and Crafts and used a 40% off coupon. (They have coupons online that you can print and take into the store.)

Goodluck on whatever you decide!
