What I do now is buy the large, 2.5 gallon Hefty Ziploc bags. I use a name label on the outside with the student's name,and then they keep their independent reading folder and independent reading books in the bag with their reading journal. Then I have 5 baskets (just plastic baskets from Dollar Tree) that are labeled with the name of the students' reading workstation groups. They put their bags into their group's basket, and it works well.
