ENJOY BABY...3RD graders will survive:-)
By Mary

Clip to ScrapBook
Erin,
I had my son in October 3 years ago. I was very apprehensive about having a long term sub too. To make matters worse, I started at a new school that same year.
I agree totally with what Denise wrote to you.
My sub shadowed me for about a week before I left. I gave her lesson plans for the 1st 2 weeks and a outline of what I planned to cover over the course to the year. Then I went into labor:-)
I worried for the 1st few days but after that I didn't even think about it. Once you look into your little ones eyes all your worries seem to melt away. Sure things were not perfect while
I was gone but funny thing is...the kids did great anyway! In fact, they felt special because we shared the experience together.
I hope all goes well. Best wishes, Maggie
