Baby Minded!
By Denise

Clip to ScrapBook
You know, don't know how long you're off after you have the baby but if you're gone for most of the year you'll be so involved with your baby & homelife you'll not really care about what happened when you were away. (Not
in an unprofessional sense either) The sub will be hired because she is qualified and if you leave her your timeline roughly telling what you'd do when she'll be most comfortable & capable if she plans/delivers it in her way. Have you ever tried to teach like someone else...really uncomfortable & unnatural. Tell her where your stuff is in case she needs (not fair to have a sub BUY her
own materials since she barely gets paid a real wage anyway) and ask that it get put back in the same spot. We tend to think ourselves as too indispensible at times...and you've got WAAAY more important things on your plate now (or coming in October) than to worry how someone else will teach while you're gone. Good luck. D
