I had enough time to get my class used to the routines and do the first 6 weeks report cards. I left an outline of plans for my sub, with my resources and a time-frame. My sub was very conscientious, but of course she did not do everything exactly as I would have. Yes, parents were happy when I returned ( I would have felt bad otherwise!) But I enjoyed being home with my baby and we all survived! You will too! Congratulations!
