I hope you were being tongue in cheeck when you listed the "problems you may have to consider when thinking about skipping can include in the future""

1. Some women never have boobs--does this mean we should not
let them into high school until they do?
2. Ditto on the above.
3. Driver's license? I have a friend who completed law school in England before he was considered an adult there. So he was able to practice law as an infant. So, that's where he was in terms of his mental ability. Gifted students can take the bus just like people who can't drive do. It's not terms for banishment
from the planet Earth. Where is all this drama coming from?
4. Dating. Eventually she will be old enough.
5. College. If she's smart enough, she can start as soon as she's ready. See this as one of the 18 ways to accelerate, listed in: "A Nation Deceived: How Schools Hold Back America's Brightest Students", downloadable at: http://www.nationdeceived.org.

Yes, she will have a lot of years to go before she even has to think about most of these. What about her brain, though, the hallmark of the gifted student? What about letting her use her fine mind to think with, to think about things, rather than being concerned now about what her age peers will be doing 10 years from now?

All the best.
