Would she skipped if you stayed in MI? By Laura

I am a Montessori teacher who has childrenlike your daughter. Three ofmy students lastyear took the early enterence test for kindergarten (thusly skipping preschool one year). Remember I have childrenfor three years -- usually. One will do fine in first next year. Another will not and he is going toa non Montessori school (he has moved). The third did not make it out of kindergarten.

I cannot read your child without knowing her. Do whatis in your heart. I know that I have several friends who skipped one or two grades. It was fine for them.

OP: Remember that it will not be a Montessori school so think about expectations in a traditional class are.
