stand-up workstation
By Odalys H. Martinez

Clip to ScrapBook
Last year I had student that could not sit in his chair. One of our resource teachers gave me this idea and it helped a lot. If you have a paper cabinet in your room, use it as a desk. I traced one of the kids shoes on construction paper and laminated it. I taped it to the floor and on the wall had a poster titled "Stand-up workstation" Any time he felt he needed to stand up he would take his materials with him and go to the station and do his work. This helped him and myself a great deal!

Hope it works for you. :-)
