Skipping K?
By CageyBee

Clip to ScrapBook
My question is, "What's the rush?" Skipping is not the answer at all...socially, emotionally, & some areas academically. I taught Kindergarten for over twenty years and the children who struggled with the social aspect were the readers! Talk with the K teacher ahead of time and see how your daughter will be challenged if the teacher sees the need. Don't forget that learning is affected by the size of the class as well. She may do well one-on-one or in a small group but not if the group is larger.
