A fellow teacher from MI

Clip to ScrapBook
I moved from MI as well and you are right, there are many differences your daughter will have to get used to, the accent being one. My son just finished kindergarten and he learned so much socially as well as academically. All teachers should be differentiating their instruction to meet the needs of each child and if you choose to place her in kindergarten, I would address this with the teacher ahead of time. She will also be a tremendous asset to the class, as I believe children learn so much from each other as well. Best of luck as you start your lives in NC!
