Two folders
By Bonnie gr. 2

Clip to ScrapBook
Our mail goes home daily. The PTO gives each child a school folder--that is our homework folder. I buy pocket folders on sale in the summer--last year for a penny. These are for everything else. I get the folders with prongs for inserting paper. I make up a for that says "Things We Learned Today" and put it in this section. The forms have the date of the Monday of that week on the top. Each day we discuss 3 things we did or learned and print one of them in the folder. It is a way of reminding ourselves of what we learned. We also practice summarizing, and copying from the board. Parents have a starting point for finding out about their child's day.
