Clip to ScrapBook
Having students with learning disabilities can be quite tough, tiring yet rewarding. Make sure you buddy up your LD, ADHD, and Autistic student with a responsible classmate. If the students with learning disabilities can't write down answers and/or copy info from the board/chart-have materials photocopied for them so they don't have a lot of writing to do. Or, leave some blanks so they only need to fill out a few words. Let them concentrate on the activity. Perhaps that 'buddy' could help scribe and talk about the answers with them. Keep smiling, Laurie.
