I assign kids a number
By Teaching2nd

Clip to ScrapBook
At the beginning of the year, I assign each student his/her "Magic Number" to put on all papers that are turned in. They put all finished work in their bins. I have 4 letter trays that are numbered (Magic Numbers 1-5, 6-10, etc.) All work goes in their bins throughout the day. It's easy to check who is missing since they number their stuff. Also, the papers are basically in ABC order, so it is easy to record in my grade book!

It works for me! :)
