Clutter
By NJ Teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I went through both of my supply closets in the classroom before school ended for the year. I wound up getting rid of a lot of sizes of paper I no longer needed for my present grade level, and I got rid of posters I no longer needed or wanted. I also weeded through some craft supplies. I am very pleased with how the closets turned out. However...a lot of the "clutter" in my classroom is created by the books I own and the materials (such as the science tubs, guided reading boxes and math manipulatives) that we are using to teach the curriculum. Also, there are three computers in the room. Many of our classrooms were not designed or updated for the demands of today's teaching. My room certainly does not have a lot of space or storage.
