I De-cluttered today!
By jch

Clip to ScrapBook
This thread got me in the mood! I dropped my daughter and friend off at the swimming pool and went to school for the afternoon on a de-cluttering mission. Boy! was I in my ZONE!

I went through boxes and sorted.
I have boxes of resource and other books to offer to others out in the hall. I threw out old workbooks from math and reading series we no longer use, but had kept "just in case the kids needed more practice." I also discovered myself gettting rid of 20 years worth of resource books because I knew I could find the same, if not better, stuff on the internet.

But best of all, I was
able to sit down and think without the students there. I made a list of anything I saw or thought of that I could rearrange, streamline, or get rid of. It was quite liberating, actually!

My next task is to go through my dreaded closet. It is the tiniest thing, but I have so much in it! I hope I am in the same ruthless mind set as today!
