hate to miss

Clip to ScrapBook
I'd hate to do without my read aloud time. I don't get to do it every day, but usually 4 out of 5 days I share usually a novel, but sometimes a picture book, with my kids. I really try to pick stories that will get them excited about reading, writing, words, and authors. I do voices or dialects for the characters as much as possible, and the kids really get into it. I love how they will say, "You always stop at the good parts!" like that happens by accident!:)
