Mrs. B from N. C.

Clip to ScrapBook
I posted the following on your blog. I was afraid you wouldn't see it, so I'm reposting it. :)

Mrs. B . . . I am going to be teaching 4th grade reading and health. I'll have 3 classes. I saw where you are
going to make sub plans using trade books. I also want to do this. I've been searching the web and haven't found any ideas. Do you have a source or are you just going to make up your own activities? I was wanting a story book that the sub could read to the class and then have some reading skill activities that the children could do after the story was read to them. Writing and language
arts will be taught by another teacher while I teach reading, but I was still thinking that I could leave some writing activities. I've checked out from the library quite a few story books that were recommended by some teachers online, but now I need to come up with some 4th grade activities. Any suggestions?

Good luck with your new school. Your classroom looks wonderful! You'll have so much fun setting it up. :s)
