I'm leaning toward "nonessential" things that admin might try to say stop doing. So I'm going to say (the previous thread made me think of it!) Singing everyday. I collect songs that build community and are fun and we learn them and sing EVERY DAY. It builds their fluency, schema, builds connections with their peers & me (they will always say, "Oh we sang this song in __ grade with Mrs. B!!"), and even improves their speaking.
