Clean Desk
By linda2671

Clip to ScrapBook
My desk is by no means a model of neatness, but there are some things that help. I have accordian files for each day of the week that I hang on the wall by my desk. Everything that I need for each day is put in those files.
If I don't get to it that day, I move it into the next day's folder. My kids have folders at their desks that they put all of their work in. They are not allowed to lay any work on my desk. Everything they do goes in their folders, even if it's makeup work. Anything that comes from the office or other teachers that needs my attention is stuck to a bulletin board by my desk. I try to
send those things back where they belong as quickly as possible. Memos that I just need to look at go into the recycle box immediately. It's so hard to keep the desk looking neat. There's always something that doesn't fit into my scheme, but at least I can keep the above mentioned things off my desk.
