3rd grade behavior
By Gina

Clip to ScrapBook
I am a third grade teacher and this is something I have used every year and found it to be very successful. I have found that it is easy for me and the parents and kids really like it.
Every day, my students draw 3 stars
at the top of their assignment notebook. If they lose 1 star, they lose 5 minutes of recess and write a note to their parents. If they lose 2 stars, the lose their entire recess and get a phone call home. If they lose all 3 stars, they are sent to the office.
They can lose stars for not having their assignment notebook signed, forgetting their homework, or for inappropriate behavior.
Since the parents have to sign their child's assignment notebook daily, they can glance to see what kind of day they had.
If you need more of an explanation, please let me know.
