Can't remember the name

of this activity (or if I found it in Tribes or not), but I have played it many times before w/ 3rd graders. Using some sort of "koosh" ball (a soft, small, rubber ball), have students (or teachers) say the name of a peer
and pass the ball to him/her. I have everyone raise their hand at the beginning, and once they have received the ball they put their hand down so there are no repeats. Once everyone has been chosen, you repeat the activity. You must pass it to the same person you chose. To make it more fun, you can have the students toss it in three seconds or less; or even add another "koosh" ball
after the first one has already started to increase the difficulty. Lots of fun...encourages getting to know each other, listening, and cooperation. Hope this helps!
