Fabric
By NJ Teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I use fabric on all of my bulletin boards. Measure the bulletin board and purchase the amount that will cover the board from top to bottom. Our boards are no more than 60 inches, and we look for that measurement so we don't
have to piece anything together. I generally use a busy pattern as opposed to a solid, and no, you can't see the staple marks. Even when I have used a solid, the marks are not noticeable. I have kept my fabrics up for years, because I haven't noticed any fading like I do with paper. On my outside bulletin board, I tend to change that fabric seasonally. I staple the fabric on the board.
I have also used wrapping paper as a backing. It's cheaper, and I have used it when I am doing a seasonal board, like winter. That is cheaper than fabric, but of course, not durable. I have also stapled layers of fabric over existing fabric if I'm pressed for time, and I just remove the fabrics at the end of the year with no harm done.:s)
