Ours go home on Fridays, each teacher is required to do one for their classroom. They tell what will be going on the next week, if there are any birthdays and who the star of the week. It has important reminders as well such as school programs, or special projects. I also list the weeks' spelling words in case the kids lose their list, they can look on the newsletter.
